The Fish Mistress

Wow... I spent waaaay too much time on this one. The goal was, however, to spend more time on one picture than I normally do, but this one was a pain to complete. It was originally going to be a girl making rainbow batter for cupcakes in a kitchen, but it didn't work out (this go around anyway) and I ended up drawing the fish. At that point, I didn't much like the lineart or the colors that I had picked, so I redrew it this afternoon and fixed a few anatomy issues and made her hands look better. The background is random of course, as always!

Pain-in-my-ass piece of art... and I like it

Still haven't committed to a style yet even though I don't really have to, but I'd like to have a more consistent look to my gallery again. The goal is to at least get to a point that I can draw people that are less cartoony, and more "realistic".
