Little doodle that was only supposed to take me a few hours, but since the bg turned into something more of a pain to decide upon, it took me more time than was originally planned.

Anyways... wanted to draw a lioness with Nala/Sarafina's colors. "Sarafina" is there mostly because she doesn't get enough fanart and anything else there just looked too odd. And I was too lazy to try and make a butterfly :aww:

In the Lion King movie she is the lioness who is giving young Nala a bath when Simba comes looking for her so they can go to the elephant graveyard. She has one line, which is "What do you think, Sarabi?" She is one of those lesser known characters. I'd have to look in the credits to see if she's even mentioned :aww:

I'm hoping they'll make a movie about Simba and Scar as young lions. Then they could include Sarabi and Sarafina as well :aww:
